Puberty can feel overwhelming—especially when physical changes outpace a child’s cognitive, social, or emotional readiness. While it can introduce new stressors, sensory challenges, and social complexity, the right support helps adolescents develop self-efficacy and highlight their creativity and strengths. Our program celebrates their individuality while fostering independence, body awareness, and essential life skills—empowering youth to navigate puberty milestones with skill and confidence.
Not your typical puberty class.
The Empowered Puberty Program is sensory-aware, OT-driven, and designed for neurodiverse and differently-abled youth navigating the physical, emotional, and social changes of puberty.
Our program takes a developmental approach, with hands-on activities, movement, and exercises that build self-awareness.
Participants gain age-appropriate self-care and hygiene skills, learn sensory strategies to manage emotions and behavior, strengthen social participation and boundary-setting, and explore self-expression through meaningful, choice-driven activities.
We'll meet them exactly where they are, promoting autonomy, emotional regulation, and self-confidence every step of the way.
