I’m a licensed occupational therapist based in the San Francisco Bay Area with over 22 years of experience. My career began in pediatrics, where I’ve always found deep fulfillment in supporting children and their families through key developmental milestones. Over time, my passion for whole-person care expanded to include women’s health—especially in navigating the often-overlooked transitions of perimenopause, menopause and surgical menopause.
Over a decade ago, I discovered I carried the BRCA gene which significantly increased my risks for cancer. After a period of deep reflection and uncertainty, followed by extensive research, I made the decision to undergo risk-reducing surgeries—leading to surgical menopause.
As a lifelong and passionate learner, I approached my surgeries with a systems-based lens, seeking to understand what they would mean for my body—not just immediately, but over time. As I learned about the downstream effects of surgical menopause on healthspan, quality of life, and longevity, what began as personal research grew into a deep professional calling.
I realized that while I had access to information, what I truly needed was a knowledgeable guide—someone to walk alongside me and help translate that knowledge into meaningful, everyday actions. That missing piece inspired me to create the kind of occupational therapy program I wish I had during that time.
Now, as menopause gains more visibility in mainstream healthcare, it feels like the right moment to offer the support I once needed—evidence-based, whole-person care that honors this profound life transition.
Today, I support adolescents and women from puberty through midlife, menopause, and beyond. I blend professional training with personal experience to create small, consistent shifts in your habits and routines, to lay the groundwork for meaningful, lasting improvements in your health and quality of life..
I bring over two decades of experience as a licensed and registered occupational therapist, complemented by credentials as a Women's Health Specialist as well as a Midlife & Menopause Professional from Dr. Heather Hirsch, MD. My advanced coursework spans menopause, women’s health, exercise science, trauma-informed care, and nervous system regulation. I have also completed over 200 hours of yoga teacher training. Integrating my yoga background, I incorporate movement and mindfulness techniques to support emotional balance and body awareness. My approach is always individualized, practical, and grounded in empathy.
I believe menopause is not the end—it’s a powerful beginning. With the right support, women can thrive during this transition and well beyond it. My goal is to bridge the gap between medical advice and real-life application, giving you the tools, strategies, and confidence to take charge of your well-being.
This work is deeply personal to me. And I’m honored to walk alongside women as they reconnect with their strength, vitality, and confidence.
When I’m not working with clients, you’ll find me savoring delicious food, practicing yoga, and enjoying music, dancing, and laughing with my daughter, family, and friends. My daydreams often turn to reimagining my spaces through interior design, joyful travels ahead, or thoughtful ways to take action for social justice. I’m a dedicated advocate for women’s and children’s health—and I truly believe that when we support each other, entire communities thrive.
